Use this Top Handle Adapter Plate from SHAPE to add a top handle or replace the original top handle on the Sony PXW-FX9 camera with the SHAPE Top Handle.

The adapter plate mounts on top of the camera and it is also designed to fit within the U-shaped SHAPE Top Plate for the FX9.

The aluminium adapter plate features numerous 1/4"-20 threads for mounting the top handle for the proper balance and your preferred configuration.
